Preparing for your Visit |
Our 100 Acre Woods is located only 20 minutes from quaint downtown Brevard, NC and to the Pisgah National Forest. Tucked away in Western North Carolina’s Blue Ridge mountains at about 3,000 feet and a stone’s throw from the East Fork River, you will find breathtaking views and refreshing vistas. On a 108 acres, we offer a quiet peaceful nature experience. If you are looking for fun and adventure, we may be of assistance. . Packing for a visit to our 100 Acre Woods can be as simple as throwing your gear into your car. We will gladly have meal kits here awaiting your arrival. Included in your daily rate is a bundle of wood and should you need more we can make that available. Remember that at elevations of more than 2,500 feet, dressing in layers is suggested all year round in order to be comfortable in cool mornings and warm days. The size and nature of the camp area access road may make it difficult for a 2-wheel vehicle to drive-in. A 4-wheel drive or all wheel drive vehicle is advisable. For information on Parking, Cancellations, etc., Please see “Policies” page of our web site |
* Meal Service to help plan meals and special adventure packages. * Comfort Station is located within varying walking distances from the camp sites and located near the Common Area. |

“Just wanted to say what a good time we had at your place! Sadly, we had to leave early... We loved our campsite! We got out to Shining Rock and the Art Loeb Trail on Friday, and summated Tennant Mountain. Ate some wild blueberries along the way! Once again thanks, and we will keep you guys in mind for our next trip out to the mountains!” - Gene Meade and Family - 9/26/09 |
